Everyone wants to be visible, especially your project. With this LCD screen, you can use 2 rows and 16 columns. It's written block over green screen. Unfortunately, we don't know in which direction to show the screen and how to use it. Therefore, it comes without header. If you want to use it, you have to solder headers.
It works with +5V and it can drawn 4mA current without LCD backligt. There is a pinout chart for correct connection. Please make sure you have made your connections correctly.
Small Tip for Makers: LCD screens use too many pins. Therefore, make sure that you make the connections correctly and do not confuse the +V and GND connections. By the way, if you dont want to use many pins you can use a small converter board, which is on this link: https://shop.robotistan.com/products/character-lcd-i2c-converter-modul
With this board, you can use just 2 pins and you need to use the I2C protocol. You also have to solder this converter board to your LCD screen.
