Ultrasonic sensors use ultrasonic sound waves to measure the distance to the object. This sensor board has a receiver and transmitter. We know that how fast sound waves travel into the air. In this sensor board, we transmit sound waves and receive reflected waves. We can find the distance to the object by calculating the elapsed time.
This ultrasonic sensor board has a 0,1" sensitivity and 1-150" range. It can be used in distance measuring, radar, and robot applications. You can make a smart car with Arduino or other microcontroller boards, automated parking projects or all kinds of measure distance projects.
