What İs the I2C/SPI Character LCD Converter Module ?
The I2C/SPI Character LCD Converter Module is a device that converts an I2C or SPI interface into a parallel interface to drive a character LCD display. This allows microcontrollers such as Arduino to interface with character LCD displays with fewer pins, making it easier to integrate into projects. The converter module supports different screen sizes and supports custom characters, adjustable backlight brightness, and contrast adjustment.
Not enough pins left?
When you are making projects with LCD screens, especially 16x2, 20x4 character LCDs, too many pins needed.
This converter module presents: You can control your LCD screen with only 2 pins. You need only control SCL and SDA pins with your microcontroller board, for example, Arduino, Nodemcu, Raspberry Pi etc. Simply solder this module to the LCD screen.
LCD backlight can control with jumper pins on this converter module and you can adjust to contrast with a small potentiometer on board.
When you solder this board backside of your LCD screen, it will be fit very well. PCB dimensions are 2.12" x 0,70" x 0,40".
